He holds a Master's degree in Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Economics, with extensive knowledge of local and international financial markets, stock markets, risk, investments, and social security, and specializes in the pension market.

He has held senior management positions in public and private institutions with over 15 years of experience. He currently serves as General Manager of Popular Pensiones S.A. and is President of the Costa Rican Association of Pension Operators (ACOP). He also served as Executive Director of the National Teachers' Pension and Retirement Board and the National Pension Directorate of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Costa Rica.
