Alejandro Steilen holds a degree in Business Administration. Since 1984, he has worked at the Viconto S.A. Fruit Company, where he has established a solid track record. Since 2013, he has served as president of the National Union of Workers of Chile (UNT), leading initiatives in defense of labor rights. He is also president of the National Peasant Confederation and the Viconto workers' union, standing out for his commitment to the agricultural and labor sectors in Chile. Finally, he also chairs the permanent social dialogue table among entrepreneurs in the agroindustry sector, as a representative of workers in that sector.
