Carolina Mery Nieto holds a degree in Business and Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and has served as Chief Investment Officer at AFP Habitat since 2018.

She began her career in the financial sector at AFP Cuprum, where she worked as an investment analyst and later as head of the research department. In 2003, she joined AFP Habitat, taking on various roles before advancing to Deputy CIO and eventually CIO.

She has complemented her education with executive programs at Harvard Business School and the Wharton School, specializing in investment management and pension funds.

Recognized for her leadership and strategic vision, she has been named one of the most influential women in Chile’s financial sector.
